I read a good article this morning with some ideas on how to get through those days that feel like everything is an uphill battle. Hit the link for further explanations.
1. Tap into realistic expectations.
2. Remind yourself why you are doing this.
3. Remember: It’s darkest before the dawn.
4. Reconnect with the basics or change the path.
5. Tell yourself: Just for today!
6. See if it is time to quit and to try something else.

Aside from many of the mental self-reassurances you listed above, I do three things in particular that really help to spin my mode into one of energy and motivation.
1) Music. I listen to some of my favorite good time tunes through some really good speakers or headphones. It sounds cheesy, but when you let it, the energy from the music literally transfers into your mindset.
2) I go for a long drive. Love driving, especially through the windy New England country roads. There’s something about the dynamics of quickly changing environments that help my mood… science, man.
3) I go for a hike or ride in the woods. There’s something about nature that really puts life into perspective.
(sometimes I mix and match all of these together!)

Yes. All 3 of those are huge for me, too.
